The Professional HND in Acting and Performance Course
2-Year Acting Course
A private 2-Year HND Acting and Performance course? You probably can't afford that right? WRONG.
If you're a Scottish or EU (with Scottish residency) student, you can afford to do this course.
We have designed a 2-Year Acting course (including HND Acting and Performance) that includes over 30 Public Performances, Stage Combat, Movement Specialist, Voice Expert training, Acting for Camera classes, Monologue training, Performance Psychology, Shakespeare, Business of Acting coaching, and a full 3 week run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

PLUS: Each graduate will also have the opportunity to audition for our Graduate Agency. Selected students will receive professional representation for at least the first 18 months after graduation.
LOOK... You can go to a local college and get a totally FREE HND in Acting and Performance.
BUT...
We designed our own 2-Year course to be so much more than a normal HND in Acting and Performance.
We've focused on what's going to get you employed - because that's the real goal and added a lot MORE to the course.
Our course is recognised by the industry - our students are members of Equity, the Actors' Union and Spotlight, which means when you graduate, you're ready to start auditioning for work. Our past students are working in the industry all over the world in television, film and theatre.
If you're determined to become a professional actor, if you're creative person, a problem solver, with a growth mindset and the grit to succeed in this business, you should audition for one of our 12 places. Unfortunately to maintain the very highest quality, we limit this opportunity to only those with the best potential.
Over 30 Public Performance
EXPERIENCE: The Recipe for Success
Most HNDs in Acting and Performance offer around 5-6 performances across two years. We offer over THIRTY. In professional venues across Scotland, including a 3 week run at the Edinburgh Fringe at the end of Second Year.
Performance experience is a fundamental part of our HND in Acting at Acting Coach Scotland.

If your HND course doesn't prepare you to thrive in the business of acting, then all the acting technique in the world won't help.
Do you know how to market yourself so that your headshot (included), voice reel (included) and showreel (included) all fall in line with your overall branding? No? Our graduates do.
For a start, graduates are immediately considered our Graduate Agency.

Gain Valuable Acting for Camera Skills and a Professional Quality Showreel
Intensive Acting for Camera training with some of the UK's leading Acting for Camera specialists, followed by valuable - on the job - camera experience making high quality showreel material.

All our courses are about performing and the HND Acting and Performance is no different. With over 30 live public performances, it's the course to be on!
Fees and Funding
The fees for this incomparable HND in Acting and Performance are £6000 per year.
And this is how you can afford to do this incredible course.
For eligible Scottish students (and EU citizens who are resident in Scotland), you can have £1205 of your fees paid for by the Scottish Government through SAAS. You can also pay the remainder through your Student Loan.
Remember, at present, if you are earning less than £18330 - a year after graduation, you will pay NOTHING back at all.

About Acting Coach Scotland
We train actors full-time on our unique one year foundation acting and professional diploma course, part-time in small friendly group acting classes in Glasgow, we coach individual actors and other professionals privately, we work with professional clients all over the world, we help actors and performers, and those that want to be.
Our students are BAFTA and Oscar Winners, have appeared in everything from Hollywood and to Bollywood, they are the leads in Netflix dramas, they are on stage on Broadway, at The Globe and the RSC, in the West End, at the RNT, the National Theatre of Scotland, on US, UK and Canadian television series and are training in drama schools around the world.
